Research Tools and Techniques

  • Mind Mapping/Concept Mapping

This technique helps you organize your thoughts, explore relationships between different topics, and brainstorm keywords.

To help with this technique, check out Credo General Reference.

  •  Create a Visual Representation of the Scholarship

Use ConnectedPapers.com to see how research is connected. This tool uses Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to locate papers and then creates a visual representation using Gephi of relevant research based around co-citation and bibliographic coupling.
