SUGGEST A VIDEO/DVD FOR PURCHASE
The Libraries encourage faculty, students, and staff members to use the following form to suggest videos/DVDs titles for purchase. Please check the online catalog first to see if your selections are already in our collection.
THE COLLECTION
The Colby Libraries provide a collection of videos and DVDs in support of classroom instruction as well as for individual, leisure viewing.
The collection consists of feature films, documentaries, classics, silent films, and television programs. Films of recognized merit, winners of major film festivals, and major award winners are purchased within budgetary limits. Emphasis is given to films that contribute to the knowledge and understanding of other countries and cultures.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to recommend films for purchase.
