Films on Demand is a video streaming service featuring over 6,000 documentary and educational videos from all disciplines.  

Programs can be divided into easy to manage segments and saved to playlists for individual or classroom viewing.

Videos can also be embedded into websites, blogs or wikis.  

Films in the collection are licensed for public performance provided no admission or other fees are charged for public viewing.  

Special collections include The American Experience, Frontline, Films for the Humanities and Sciences, and network news sources.

DVD Collection


The Colby Libraries' collection includes hundreds of documentaries and educational video on DVD.  

To shelf browse the collection at Miller Library, simply locate the call number section starting with DVD E... for US topics and the beginning of section DVD F... for local US topics, such as the state of Maine.
