BIXLER LIBRARY MEDIA LAB
Bixler Library Media Lab is a multi-use computer lab for student use and classroom space for select scheduled courses in digital art, computer-based applications in music, and web-based research methods for art and music.
GUIDELINES FOR USE
The primary function of this lab is to serve as open lab space for students. The lab may be scheduled for 1 digital art class per semester, and on an ad hoc basis for art, music, or library classes requiring hands-on, interactive student/faculty computer use. No food is allowed in the lab ; only drinks in sturdy, spill proof containers are allowed (no cans, styrofoam cups, etc. are allowed.)

HOURS
The Media Lab is open during all normally scheduled Bixler Library hours. Scheduled classes may take place between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm ; the lab is for open student use at all other times.
SCHEDULING & CONTACT INFO
In consultation with the Head of the Art and Music Library, the Registrar may schedule appropriate semester-long Art or Music classes in the Bixler Library Media Lab. Other requests for scheduling individual or ad-hoc classes in Music, Art, or for the Library should be submitted via email to Margaret Ericson, Art and Music Librarian for approval. Departments outside Music, Art or the Library may only schedule this facility under exceptional circumstances.
